SUMMARY:Roanoke Island Oyster Shellabration and BBQ
DESCRIPTION:The Roanoke Island Historical Association (RIHA) is proud to announce the second annual Shellabration and BBQ event will take place November 1\, 2026\, from 1pm-4pm at the Safe Harbor Marina and Tiki Bar. This event is sponsored\, in part\, by a grant from the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau. \nThis year’s event will feature an expanded lineup of North Carolina oyster farmers and additional local barbecue vendors\, while keeping the ticket price unchanged at $95. \nGuests will have the opportunity to sample oysters from North Carolina growers and enjoy a variety of regional food specialties. Shucked and roasted oysters will be served alongside barbecue\, chowders\, biscuits\, desserts\, and entertainment will include live music by local band\, Partly Crowdy. \nThe $95 ticket includes all food\, two drink tickets and live entertainment. Ample parking will be available. The event is open to guests ages 21 and older.
