DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Town of Duck 4th of July parade and community celebration for America 250 is set for July 3rd \, 2026. \nThe annual one-mile Town of Duck 4th of July Parade route begins at the crest of the hill on Scarborough Lane\, travels east towards the ocean\, turns left onto Ocean Way\, and then continues onto Christopher Drive to end at Pamela Court. Please note: no part of the parade will take place on Duck Road. \nA Community Celebration will be held immediately following the parade at the Duck Town Park. The celebration will feature live music\, cold refreshments\, including watermelon provided by Green Acres Farm Market\, and the awarding of the parade trophies. \nNO Fireworks in Duck! \n

A living history farm\, Island Farm is a tangible glimpse into coastal history\, and the realities of life on Roanoke Island in the mid-1800’s. Admission to the site is $11\, and children 3 and under are admitted for free. The site is located at 1140 N US Highway 64\, north of Manteo on Roanoke Island.

Enjoy a day of fun on Roanoke Island with live music\, food trucks\, and a spectacular fireworks show. The downtown Manteo waterfront provides a picturesque setting for the fireworks display\, which can be viewed from Roanoke Island Festival Park. \nThe annual fireworks display is free and open to the public. Parking is available throughout the town on a first-come\, first-serve basis\, and handicapped spaces are available as well – (until filled\, and proper permit is required.) The public is welcome to bring chairs\, and blankets to find a seat at Roanoke Island Festival Park\, and in the hours leading up to the display\, are invited to explore the heart of Manteo\, which will be decked out for the festivities including live music. It is always an exciting time in the Town of Manteo at the Fourth of July Celebrations!  The streets downtown are full of children and their families\, neighbors and visitors alike joining in the festivities celebrating Independence Day.  Festivities begin at 4:00 PM and end at dusk with fireworks!

The Currituck County Department of Travel & Tourism invites you to Historic Corolla Park for our annual Independence Day Celebration! Activities begin at 5:00pm and conclude with the largest fireworks show on the Outer Banks at dusk. Admission is free and free parking is available at the park until our lots are full. Enjoy incredible live music\, fun family activities and more! Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase by local vendors. Please note that no coolers\, alcohol or on-street parking are permitted in the park. The Historic Corolla Park boat ramp and Air Up Station will be closed from 3pm on July 3rd until 7am July 5th.  No boat docking will be allowed.  Only leashed dogs are permitted.  However\, due to the noise from the fireworks\, dogs are not recommended at this event. \nParking:\nFree onsite parking for this event will begin at 3:00pm at Historic Corolla Park and will be available on a first come\, first served basis.
