Great house in the heart of Duck. has everything you need for a great family vacation. Located in Poteskeet, within easy walking distance to both the beach and the charming village of Duck. "Duckin' Around" offers a private pool and hot tub, ping pong table, gas grill, basketball goal and horseshoes. Also available are a pack n play and high chair and 6 TVS! Only 700 feet from the beach access! This comfortable home supplies beach chairs, boogie boards and bikes. Enjoy the basketball goal or horseshoes. The top floor has a slider to a full deck that has a table, chairs and umbrella for outdoor meals. The wraparound deck, dining area and kitchen all offer a slight ocean view. Washer and Dryer! This home is Kid Friendly!

Well stocked house
The house had everything we needed. The house provided bikes, boogie boards and plenty of kitchen equipment which made the stay very comfortable. The only thing I would recommend to the owners is to have a small fridge downstairs for convenience.

Nice place!
House was very nice and really great location. Walk to Duck Donuts every morning! We had two small issues while we were there and the good folks at Shoreline OBX were very responsive.

Great Vacation in Duck!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Duckin Around. It was a perfect distance from the beach and from the downtown area of Duck. I highly recommend this home. It is a perfect size for two families. My kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub and pingpong table.

Great House/Great Company
Loved the house, it had everything we needed and then some. Loved all bikes, pool tools, beach accessories. Loved the location - so close to the beach and the town. Rental company - Shoreline - was especiallly nice/friendly, accommodating. Will def be back!

peaceful vacation
We had a wonderful time here. The house has many levels. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Wish they had cleaned it earlier. Bed rooms a bit small for the size of the house. Nice deck. Close to beach.

Wonderful vacation home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Duck, The agency was extremely communicative and helpful. The home was well appointed, comfortable, and extremely well maintained. The home was located equidistant between the shops and the beach, so we had easy walking access to both.

Perfect for our needs
This house had everything we needed for a relaxing week. I will list a few things to keep in mind if you do rent this property. Rent your own bikes. The bikes that are there are not in top shape. We have a pool so we recognized that the filter was not working right but most people wouldn't know. The maintenance person told us we dodged a $400 repair on filter. Ehhh not sure what happened but we had nothing to do with it. So thank god for our pool knowledge. Other than that house was very clean and perfect. A short bike ride to the beach....oh and bring your own beach chairs and boogie boards. Hope this helps Fabulous location!!!!

Duck-2 review
The property was true as depicted and well equipped in the kitchen. Bedrooms small but beds comfy! Some nasty stains on the carpet. Only disappointment was not being able to really dine outside. As mentioned, deck table and pool area table are both falling apart and are both a hazzard and an eyesore. They should be removed from the property. The picnic table is fine, and a good spot to sit while enjoying the basketball playing, but not nice for dining. We would recommend it and consider it again for ourselves if table situation was improved.
