Duck Vacation Rentals

Visiting the popular seaside town of Duck in the Outer Banks? Let us help you find the perfect Duck, NC vacation rentals that will suit your needs, as well as recommend the best things to do in Duck, NC.

The Town of Duck, NC, is the northern-most town in Dare County and the most charming seaside town in the Outer Banks. Incorporated in 2002, Duck has official “Town” status, but you will find that it still retains a village feel. You’ll enjoy 7 miles of clean beaches, a multi-use path and a central village with shops, restaurants, a soundfront park and boardwalk and activities (like the Duck Jazz Festival), not to mention the Atlantic Ocean and Currituck Sound. Many of our Duck, NC vacation rentals are also available year round to accommodate the thousands of tourists who choose to spend their vacation here. Be sure to take a look at Duck, NC vacation rentals on the oceanfront, or our pet-friendly Duck vacation rentals, and even our condo rentals. Our Duck, North Carolina, rentals are an excellent alternative to Duck hotels!

Duck’s popularity has exploded over the past few years, becoming a popular beach destination for families. This designation may have something to do with some positive publicity from the Travel Channel. Duck has ranked on America’s Best Beaches list, published by the Travel Channel, since 2000. The Travel Channel says: “Duck’s relative solitude and its vast array of neatly constructed rental homes make it ideal for families. That is, unless your family likes to go bar hopping until the wee hours, in which case you may be out of luck…. Still, while we admit Duck would never make the list for top spring break party spots, boredom is hardly a threat here.”

The beaches in Duck are less crowded because there are no public accesses.  Each subdivision or community has been well planned so there is access to the beach. Unfortunately, if you are not staying in Duck, you cannot use their beaches. Even communities on the west side have a designated beach access.  Despite not having public accesses, the town does provide ocean rescue during the summer months for visitors and residents.
