Meet Jennifer Hurd, General Manager
With over 30 years of experience in property management, Jennifer has a vast knowledge of the Outer Banks Vacation Rental Industry. She spent her first 14 years in the industry at the same company and has been at Shoreline OBX for the past 16 years, proving that commitment is very important to her. Jennifer was born in Franklin, Virginia and was raised in Western Maryland. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in English from Frostburg State University in 1990, and moved to the Outer Banks immediately after graduation. She earned her NC Real Estate Broker’s license in 1991.
Jennifer is an active member of the Outer Banks Association of REALTORS, having served on the Board of Directors and Property Management Chair for several years. She is a 2-time recipient of the Outer Banks Association of REALTOR’s Committee Chair of the Year Award and has attended, participated and lectured at National Vacation Rental Managers’ Association (VRMA) conferences around the country!
