Visitors will find ample street-side parking available here as well as seven public parking lots that are within walking distance of downtown. The public parking lots with the most space available include Town Common on Budleigh and Ananias Dare Street as well as Roanoke Island Festival Park and Queen Elizabeth Street by the Festival Park bridge. If you’re in town during special events, there are upward of 200 parking spaces available at the College of the Albemarie Dare Campus too.

If you find yourself in downtown Manteo over the Fourth of July, you’ll be right on time to enjoy being a part of the festive Independence Day celebrations that include music, food, family-friendly games, and fireworks too.
