Q. What is there to do on the Outer Banks besides go to the beach?

Q. What do we need to bring during our stay?
We recommend these home essentials when staying in one of our vacation rentals in the Outer Banks: coolers, ice, paper products, condiments, basic cleaning supplies, garbage bags, sponges, dishtowels and dishcloths, laundry and dish detergents, coffee and filters, aluminum foil, saran wrap, beach gear & beach towels. Bed and bath linens are provided at most of our vacation rental properties year round, with just a few exceptions.
Q. Do we have to wait until 4:00pm to check-in to your office/why do I have to check in at your office?
You can check-in at our office as early as 9:00am. However, check-in time to the rental property is 4:00pm. We are conveniently located at the foot of the Wright Memorial Bridge, so you can stop by the office as soon as you arrive on the Outer Banks. We like to greet our guests and welcome you to the Outer Banks with a warm smile and a gift bag to make your stay that much more memorable!
Q. How far in advance do you take reservations?
We take tentative reservations up to 2 years in advance with a $50 down payment!
Q. Why should I purchase the travel insurance?
Life is unpredictable, and some vacations need to be cancelled. Travel insurance can provide peace of mind against injuries, illness, and other unexpected events. In the event of a natural disaster, travel insurance plans can help cover the cost. We all experience tough economic times. The loss of a job or other income might mean a trip planned in advance may have to wait. Q. Are linens and towels provided?
Bed and bath linens are provided at most of our vacation rental properties year round, with just a few exceptions. Please contact our office for more information regarding your vacation rental.
Q. Are the kitchens stocked?
The kitchens are fully equipped with bakeware, cookware, and flatware, as well as a dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven, coffeemaker, blender, toaster, and can opener.
Q. Do you allow pets and if so, what are the rules?
Many of our vacation rental homes ARE pet (dog) friendly! Pets are limited to two domestic, housebroken, non destructive adult dogs (no puppies). Please clean up after your dogs and keep them off of the furniture and bedding. We do charge a non refundable $150 pet fee (for up to two dogs).

Q. Do you allow partial week reservations?
Many of our properties do allow partial week rentals (3 – 4 nights) between September and May, depending on availability.
