Dare Days is a Town-Sponsored special event showcasing and celebrating our great community, its diverse culture, and rich history over two days in two different locations to enjoy!
Dare Days is always held the first Saturday in June in downtown Manteo. It serves as the initial kick-off to the summer here in Manteo and on the Outer Banks. Family and friends can enjoy a variety of craft and food vendors, music, live entertainment, lawn games, and a great kid’s zone complete with fun rides, obstacle course, and activities. Shop and dine at the many local shops and restaurants throughout the day and all weekend!
But wait, there was MORE! Family, friends, smiles, giggles, and wiggles will continue the next day on Sunday with a gospel concert at Cartwright Park on Sir Walter Raleigh Street. Sip on old-fashioned lemonade, relax and enjoy a wide array of music provided by our local churches and other groups. It is always quite a delight!
Dare Days is all about celebrating and connecting communities at the grass roots level in order to share our wonderful and diverse culture and rich history through this very special event .
