If you didn’t bring gear, rod and reel combos can be purchased or rented in combination with bait and tackle for sale. You can also buy refreshments at Jennette’s. South Nags Head Pier

For a quieter spot to go fishing, cast a line at The South Nags Head Pier. Open seasonally 24 hours a day, this is an excellent area to fish!

Melvin Daniels Little Bridge

If you want to try something else than a fishing pier, head to the Melvin Daniels Little Bridge on the Manteo-Nags Head Causeway. This bridge has lighted parking with a gazebo and offers a great place to go fishing and crabbing. It’s a wonderful spot where many locals enjoy fishing and is in close proximity to tackle shops.
