Plenty of activities are going on for this Fourth of July on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. If you’re planning on being here during the festivities we can set you up in a Outer Banks beach house rental where you can attend any of the activities taking place around the area. Some areas will have all day festivities to celebrate Independence Day.

Watching the fireworks from the beach provides you with a front row seat — pack your picnic dinner, spread a blanket out or set up a lounge chair and enjoy the evening on the beach.
Duck’s 8th Annual Fourth of July Parade will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., with a community social following at the Duck Town Park featuring music by Ruth Wyand, refreshments, and the awarding of parade trophies.
20th Annual Independence Day Celebration in Currituck Outer Banks on July 4 from 4-10 p.m. Held at Currituck Heritage Park, 1100 Club Rd, Corolla.
The Town of Manteo Fireworks will be provided beginning at 9:30 p.m. The 440th Army Band will begin their patriotic concert at 8 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m. Pack up the lawn chairs, blankets and picnic and bring family and friends in the Outdoor Pavilion at Roanoke Island Festival Park.
Nags Head Fireworks Display will start at 9:25 p.m. at Nags Head Fishing Pier Milepost 11.
Avon Fireworks Display begins at approximately 9 p.m. at Avon Pier.
