Our family has been coming to Corolla for the last 10 years. We value the area’s remote natural beauty with limited commercialization. Corolla is known for its laid-back, family atmosphere and is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the beach! While in Corolla, we love the short walk for the beach sunrises and sound sunsets, and lazy afternoons at our pool. We also enjoy climbing the Corolla lighthouse, exploring the nautical museum at Whalehead Park, having a stone oven pizza and tap wall selections at nearby Whalehead Brewery, or occasionally dining out at a little fancier restaurant like La Dolce Vita in Timbuck II. Other favorite activities include taking a kayak sunset tour with the family on the sound, shopping for a kite, puzzle, or game at Flying Smiles Kites, and an absolute must is a guided horse tour with a beer and live music afterward at the Corolla Beer Garden!
