The North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island offers a variety of indoor and outdoor programs including a stingray feeding demonstration, nautical crafts activities, and outdoor wildlife explorations! Are you curious about the magnificent sea turtles that swim through the Atlantic Ocean? When your tour the STAR Center, you can learn about the aquarium’s efforts to assist injured sea turtles while viewing the lovable creatures in person!

During “Happy Otter Hour” at the aquarium, you can learn all about the river otters that call the Outer Banks home. Watch them eat, play, and live their daily lives. Surely you know what a stingray is and maybe you’ve caught one while fishing, but do you know how a creature as oddly shaped as stingray eats? When you have “Breakfast With the Rays,” you’ll find out!
